Summary of Position

Provides friendly and efficient service to guests according to company policies, procedures, and standards. Maximizes guest satisfaction and maintains a positive work environment as directed by the Manager on Duty. Controls business flow to ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable. Checks out guests at the register and ensures their dining experience is highly satisfactory.

Position Activities and Tasks

• Host activities and guest interaction
• Greet guests warmly, seat them promptly, and manage waiting lists
• Take cash at the register, check on guest satisfaction, and thank them for their visit
• Maintain cleanliness of the cashier area, bakery cases, lobby, restrooms, and dining areas
• Assist with to-go orders and support servers and bus persons as needed
• Ensure guest needs are met throughout their dining experience
• Communicate effectively with management and team members about issues and solutions

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Extensive standing and walking for up to 8 hours
• Ability to see clearly at various distances and communicate effectively
• Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and cleaning chemicals
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry trays of food
• Work irregular hours during busy times
