Assistant Store Manager

Reports to: Store Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $40-44k annually with quarterly bonus

Experience:

Some management experience in retail or food service is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Store Manager in daily operations.
2. Lead, supervise, and train staff in product preparation, including portioning, packaging, and cleaning.
3. Manage costs and inventory.
4. Make sound judgments under pressure in fast-paced situations.
5. Assign tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Operational and Technical Skills:

• Time Management: Organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Restaurant Operations: Understanding food prep, service standards, and management software.
• Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory and managing food costs.
• Financial Management: Basic financial understanding and budget management.
• Cash Handling & POS Systems: Proficiency in handling transactions and using POS systems.
• Education: High school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s in hospitality management or related field is a plus.
• Experience: 2+ years of management experience.
