Assistant Store Manager

Reports to: Store Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $40,000 - $44,000 annually, with quarterly bonuses

Experience:

Some management experience in retail or food service is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations.
• Lead, supervise, and train staff in product preparation, including portioning, packaging, and cleaning.
• Manage costs and inventory.
• Make sound decisions under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Assign tasks effectively to staff.

Operational and Technical Skills:

• Time Management: Organize and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Restaurant Operations: Understand food prep, service standards, and management software.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory and control food costs.
• Financial Management: Basic financial understanding and budget management.
• Cash Handling & POS Systems: Proficiency in cash transactions and POS systems.
• Education: High school diploma or GED; a bachelor's in hospitality or related field is a plus.
• Experience: 2+ years in management.
