Job summary

Black Bear Diner is seeking an Assistant Manager in Moore, OK to serve as the GM's right hand. You will oversee planning, organizing, training and leadership to meet sales and profitability goals, including staffing, scheduling and coaching staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• ServSafe certification is required.
• Restaurant management experience desirable.
• Ability to supervise, interview, and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest service meets Black Bear Diner standards.
• Lead shift and manage operations when GM is absent.
• Interview and hire team members and prepare payroll adjustments.
• Develop and post labor schedules and adjust staffing to sales volume.
• Monitor costs, inventory, and food safety compliance.
