Job summary

Braum's in Fort Smith, AR is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily store operations, coach the team and ensure excellent customer service. The role runs on a rotating schedule with a 5:30 am–3:00 pm shift, and offers pay of $17.50–$18.00 hourly (about $46,500–$49,500 annually).

Reports to the Store Manager and supports food service, grocery, and fountain areas. Responsibilities include training, driving sales, monitoring inventory and safety, and enforcing store policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Retail management experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Teach, coach and lead store crew members.
• Maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality.
• Oversee the daily operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market and fountain sales.
• Actively participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety and cleanliness as needed.
• Share in responsibility for ensuring that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly.
