Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations, ensuring friendly, efficient service and high food quality in a clean, inviting environment.

You will work closely with the District Manager and team to uphold standards, lead shifts, train staff, and drive guest satisfaction. Previous assistant management in high-volume food service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing and access to transportation.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing restaurant's daily operations.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Coach, counsel, and develop staff and manage team relations.
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for a fun, family environment in the restaurant.
