Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager for The Corner Store at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. You will help lead daily restaurant operations, drive guest satisfaction, and mentor team members, ensuring a high-energy, guest-focused environment.

You will coordinate with chefs and management, manage schedules and inventory, and support continuous improvement to deliver WOW moments for guests and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of relevant leadership or hospitality experience required.
• Available to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Maintains a disciplined focus on continuous improvement, guest satisfaction, and team performance.
• An attentive and thoughtful communicator across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily floor plans per shift for proper station rotation and coverage.
• Supervise floor service during hours of operation.
• Conduct employee evaluations and manage attendance issues.
• Coordinate with the Chef on food service and menu issues.
• Collaborate with management, chefs, and culinary staff to address guest needs.
• Place orders via the IP System and Purchasing; prepare purchase requisitions.
• Maintain inventory and stocking area accuracy.
• Inspect incoming food for freshness and quality.
• Engage with guests for special requests and large party reservations.
