Anakeesta is seeking a full time Food and Beverage Assistant Manager. This individual oversees the daily activities and processes of one of our high-volume restaurants. As the Assistant Manager of the food and beverage outlet,
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Involved with day-to-day operations, such as food inventory, sales goals, customer service, food quality, checks, professionalism, employee conduct, financial activities, building maintenance, and marketing.
Evaluate, develop and implement plans that identify and address areas of opportunity in guest experience in partnership with the Food and Beverage Manager.
Proactively guide teams toward common goals through clear and consistent expectations and training.
Ensure that team members understand hard to identify areas of guest needs and proactively engage in recovery as needed, escalating within the department as needed.
Evaluate and work closely with team members to understand and identify opportunities for development and goals for growth to outline and support succession planning.
Lead through engagement and create/foster an environment that is consistent with Anakeesta’s core values, and the employee first attitude instilled by the partners.
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards set forth by the Sevier County Health Department, as well as ServSafe taught procedures ensuring the highest standards for our guests and team members.
Partner with the Human Resources department to provide timely information concerning accountability, turnover, and staffing opportunities for efficient postings and support.
Continually assess labor to balance guest experience, employee experience, and financial goals
Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in Implementing revenue enhancing programs, including front line training programs focused on guest conversion and throughput
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for aiding the Food & Beverage Manager in training and supervising all staff.
Sets the example for all other staff for service standards, menu knowledge, wine and beverage education, and overall service excellence.
Ensures organization, cleanliness and integrity of both front and back of house operations for assigned location
Works in the operations of the assigned outlet, leading by example, exceeding guest satisfaction as well as completing management reports pertaining to revenue, accounting, tip disbursements and recording, scheduling, ordering products and equipment, payroll, inventory and keeping daily manager logs.
Understand, comply with, and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service
Follow-up on staff training, attendance, timekeeping, and other general leadership functions to support the standards and efficiency of the staff.
Should have the ability to work all stations in assigned outlet, and have a proven ability to supervise, communicate, and work well with coworkers and service staff.
Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
Make employment and terminationrecommendations consistent with Company guidelines for review. Always partnering with Human Resources for compliance review.
Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
Prepare all required paperwork, including status change forms, reports, schedules, and time keeping adjustments
Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality and judgement regarding privileged information
Self-motivated, disciplined and possess a sense of urgency
Able to prioritize and complete assignments on a timely basis, communicating clearly when there are concerns
Enjoy a fast paced and dynamic work environment
Must be able to adapt to changes as necessary
At least three years of supervisory experience in Food and Beverage
Must be at least 21 years or older.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have driver’s license.
Must have ABC card
Must obtain Manager Food Handling Certificate within 30 days
Excellent people and communications skills
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be organized.
Must have basic computer skills

Able to lift up to 25 lbs.; can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, crawl and stand for long periods of time.
