Job summary

Jimmy John's is seeking an Assistant Manager in Miami to support the General Manager in daily store operations and back-of-house paperwork. You will lead by example, demonstrate enthusiastic and positive leadership, and uphold all systems and procedures with integrity.

You will handle prep, rush events, training, and weekly inventory audits, while coordinating with the GM on store needs. The role requires 35+ hours weekly and strong MS Office skills; prior leadership in fast-paced environments

Qualifications

• Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours a week.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high-stress situations in the store.
• Organize and establish priorities with minimal supervision.
• Ability to key close or key open as needed by store.

Job description

Assistant Managers work with the General Manager to oversee in-store operations and back-of-the-house paperwork. Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As a Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, eager, and positive.

Assistant Manager's responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Completing prep
• Managing busy rushes
• Training new employees
• Completing weekly inventory and paperwork audits
• Actively Communicating with the GM about the needs of the store

Requirements, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours a week
• At least 18 years of age
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high stress situations in the store
• Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision
• Ability to key close (or key open based on the store's individual needs)

Compensation:

• Health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance available
• One week of paid time off during the first year of employment. Two weeks of paid time off thereafter.
• Free Meal every shift over 6 hours.
