Job summary

JS Fort Group, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager for a Jimmy John’s restaurant in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. This role partners with the General Manager to supervise in-store operations and ensure paperwork and procedures are followed with integrity.

You’ll lead by example, stay composed during rushes, and train new teammates. Responsibilities include prep, inventory and audits, and ongoing dialogue with the GM to address store needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours a week.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Acrobat.
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high-stress store conditions.
• Organize and establish priorities with minimal supervision.
• Ability to key close or key open as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager.
• Lead by example and ensure systems and procedures are followed with integrity.
• Complete prep and manage busy rush periods.
• Train new employees and conduct weekly inventory and paperwork audits.
• Communicate actively with the GM about store needs.

Job description

Assistant Managers work with the General Manager to oversee in-store operations and back-of-the-house paperwork. Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As a Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, eager, and positive.

Assistant Manager's responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Completing prep
• Managing busy rushes
• Training new employees
• Completing weekly inventory and paperwork audits
• Actively Communicating with the GM about the needs of the store

Requirements, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours a week
• At least 18 years of age
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high stress situations in the store
• Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision
• Ability to key close (or key open based on the store's individual needs)

Compensation:

• Health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance available
• Two weeks (80 hours) of paid time off during the three year of employment. Raises to 96 hours after 3 years and 120 hours after 5 years.
