Lore Group's Riggs Washington DC is seeking an Assistant General Manager for the hotel restaurant. The role supports the General Manager in staffing, financial management, guest satisfaction, and strategic planning to deliver outstanding dining experiences.
You will lead training, supervise staff, manage budgets and procedures, optimize operations, and ensure high service standards. This is a hands-on leadership role based at Cafe Riggs in Washington, DC.
Riggs Washington DC sits on the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter’s 9th and F Street in a historic building once home to Riggs National Bank. Each of the Hotel’s 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building’s legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan - a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan.

Position Overview: The Assistant General Manager of the Hotel Restaurant will play a pivotal role in assisting the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, financial management, guest satisfaction, and strategic planning. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Salary range: $88,000.00 - $92,000.00
