Riggs Washington DC is seeking a welcoming Front of House host to join the restaurant team. You will assist with floor management, host guests, answer calls, and book reservations, ensuring a warm, personable welcome and memorable guest experiences throughout the dining journey.
Past hotel or restaurant experience is not required, but a friendly attitude, team spirit, and poise under pressure will help you thrive in our fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Riggs Washington DC sits on the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter's 9th and F Street in a historic building once home to Riggs National Bank. Each of the Hotel's 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building's legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan - a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan.
Assist with floor management, hosting, and guest outreach
Welcome guests in a warm, personable, sincere, and friendly manner.
Provide and create positive environment for everyone in the restaurant.
Receive calls and book reservations for the guest.
Obtain guest's information in preparation for their reservation and arrival.
Anticipate guest's needs, and create personal and memorable experience and solution
Perform all other duties as requested by the restaurant manager.
Pay Range: Hourly $18-$20
