Via 313 in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, develop future leaders, and drive business results.

You will partner with the General Manager to build a strong team culture, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and grow with a rapidly expanding Detroit-style pizza brand.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of restaurant leadership experience.
• Full-service restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A hands-on leader who leads by example.
• Growth mindset with a passion for coaching and developing others.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations and execute brand experience.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members.
• Support hiring, training, and retention to build a high-performing team.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
• Ensure quality, cleanliness, food safety, and hospitality standards.
• Monitor labor, inventory, scheduling, and other metrics.
• Serve as a leader on the floor, supporting FOH and BOH.
• Partner with the GM to achieve goals and develop leaders.
• Respond to guest feedback and create raving fans.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

As an Assistant General Manager, you'll play a critical role in leading daily operations, developing future leaders, and driving the success of the restaurant. You'll partner closely with the General Manager to build a strong team culture, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and achieve business results.

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annually
Potential Annual Bonus: Up to $6,500 ($500 per period)

What You'll Do

• Lead daily restaurant operations and help execute the Via 313 brand experience every shift.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Support hiring, training, and retention efforts while helping build a high-performing team.

• Ensure quality, cleanliness, food safety, and hospitality standards are consistently met.
• Monitor labor, inventory, scheduling, and other key business metrics.
• Serve as a leader on the floor, supporting both Front of House and Back of House operations.
• Partner with the General Manager to achieve restaurant goals and develop future leaders.
• Respond to guest feedback and help create raving fans of the Via 313 brand.
