Automation Personnel Services in Columbia, SC is seeking a Restaurant Appliance Maintenance Tech to inspect and service commercial dishwashers. You will check spray arms, nozzles, gaskets, and hoses to ensure proper water pressure and prevent leaks.

Restaurant Appliance Maintenance Tech

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Restaurant Appliance Maintenance Tech for a company based in Columbia, SC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspect spray arms, nozzles, door gaskets, and hoses weekly to ensure proper water pressure and avoid leaks.

Pay Rate

$20 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

On Call every other weekend

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect spray arms
• Make sure the dishwasher is functioning correctly
• Make sure there are no leaks within the hoses or the dishwasher itself
• Test thermostats, heating elements, and control boards and replace frayed wires or broken parts.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Technical Knowledge: understanding of commercial plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods in warm, damp environments.
• 2-5 years of experience.
• Safety and Compliance: Knowledge of health department regulations, food safety standards, and proper PPE use.
