Job summary

ARC of the Treasure Coast seeks a dependable Lead Rest Area Attendant to oversee daily operations at an I-95 rest area. You will supervise attendants, ensure a clean and safe environment, and support individuals with disabilities in a team-based setting.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety knowledge, and strong communication to maintain facilities and coordinate inspections, trainings, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years custodial/janitorial experience preferred.
• Leadership or training experience a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA, infection control, and safety standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support Attendants
• Assign and monitor work; ensure quality and safety standards
• Conduct routine inspections and maintain site cleanliness
• Ensure adequate supplies and proper equipment use
• Perform custodial duties (restrooms, floors, trash, general cleaning)
• Maintain grounds appearance and complete required reports
• Enforce safety protocols and proper PPE use
