Job summary

Catholic Community Services of Western Washington is hiring for a role at Nativity House in Tacoma. The worker will perform intake interviews, coordinate housing stability plans, and deliver basic medical and social services to respite guests.

The job requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to operate within a multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities include medication handling, transporting guests to appointments, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must obtain Food Handler’s card within first 3 months of employment.
• Must have reliable transportation, WA driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Must obtain CPR Certification within first 3 months of employment.
• Experience working with diverse populations including people with active mental health and chemical dependency issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, structure, and behavior management for respite guests.
• Assist guests in navigating social services and healthcare appointments.
• Record medications and health information accurately in logs and systems.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and cleanliness of the facility.
• Deliver reports and documentation for funding sources on time.
