Job summary

Consumer Direct Care Network is seeking a compassionate respite provider to support a young boy in or around Bloomer, WI. You will work 10 hours per week with some overnights, delivering patient, reliable care in a home setting and coordinating with the family.

Ideal candidates are friendly, flexible, and able to adapt to changing needs. Background check required; prior caregiving experience is preferred but not mandatory, with opportunities to grow and build trust within the family and

ABOUT THE KIDDO

• He loves to learn new things. How to take things apart and put them back together
• He loves to Hunt & Fish
• He loves all sports, he is very active!
• Anything outdoors - Hiking and learning new species

SCHEDULE & HOURS

• 10 hours per week, mostly on weekdays
• Some Overnights allowed as well
• On-call and flexible scheduling options – you can collaborate with the family to create a schedule that works for everyone

COMPENSATION

• $14.13 per hour
• $200+ per overnight

• Friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic
• Patient and understanding, especially when children have negative behaviors
• Flexible and able to change gears quickly
• Comfortable working in a home setting and occasionally in the community
• Able to maintain a fun, engaging, and safe environment
• Someone who values connection with children and understands the importance of building trust

REQUIREMENTS

• Must pass a background check
• Previous experience in caregiving, child care, or respite is preferred but not required
