Job summary

St. Louis Arc is seeking an ARCH Respite Coordinator to join our team in St. Louis, MO. This full-time, exempt role (40 hours/week) earns $53,000 annually and focuses on empowering residents to live independently through respite services and community connections.

You will manage referrals, guide families through enrollment, educate on program options, and collaborate with schools and providers to grow participation and utilization. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in social work, human services, education, or related field preferred.
• Three or more years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or their families.
• Experience in program management, customer service, enrollment services, community outreach, case coordination, or family support services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for ARCH Respite referrals and inquiries, guiding families through eligibility, enrollment, and onboarding.
• Educate families about respite program guidelines, available service options, providers, and hours.
• Build and maintain relationships with enrolled families to encourage ongoing engagement and participation.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase respite enrollment, participation, and utilization.
• Monitor respite utilization and engage families to maximize authorized hours and address barriers.
• Build relationships with schools, healthcare providers, state agencies, and other referral sources to increase awareness and access.
• Represent the Arc at community events and networking opportunities to promote respite services.
• Deliver presentations and educational opportunities to families, professionals, and partners.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure access to resources and services.
• Respond to family questions regarding requirements, vouchers, billing, and portal access; assist with documentation and navigation.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of interactions, records, and program information.
• Monitor enrollment and compile reports to identify opportunities for growth and development.
• Ensure services comply with organizational policies, funder requirements, and ARCH Respite Program guidelines.
