Job summary

The Village Network seeks a Respite Coordinator to provide relief for caregivers and to support youth in home or community settings. You will coordinate with families and staff to assess needs and ensure appropriate placements, applying trauma-informed approaches and assisting with crisis de-escalation as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience (or related degrees) and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or higher with relevant experience.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s in Human Services preferred.
  • Experience with autism support strategies a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide temporary relief for caregivers for youth in home or community settings.
  • Coordinate with families and staff to assess needs and placements.
  • Demonstrate trauma-informed care and manage crisis de-escalation.
  • Assist with transportation and engage families with mentors.
