Job summary

Strive Colorado IDD Services is seeking a part-time Respite/Direct Support Professional to provide supervision and support to a child with complex medical needs at home or in a community setting.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and CPR/First Aid training. Medication administration may be needed, with CPI training preferred. Valid driver2; license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge/Licenses required for this role.
• Must have a valid Drivers license and meet STRIVE driving standards.
• First Aid & CPR certification and CPI training may be required.
• Medication administration certification (QMAP) if medications are given.
• Background checks and references required per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to individuals with disabilities living at home.
• Administer medications as trained and manage health needs.
• Assist with hygiene, meals, transportation, and daily living activities.
• Provide overnight or daytime supervision based on caseload and plan.
• Document services and complete billing correctly in Therap system.
