Job summary

Trusted Health has a travel assignment for an allied health professional with extensive NICU experience. The role requires floating to multiple units including adult and neonatal critical care, must hold required licenses, and complete pre-employment modules.

Vaccination and credentialing are part of onboarding for a 13-week, day-shift travel position. Candidates should live more than 100 miles from the facility and be willing to travel; ABG license and critical care certifications are required,

Qualifications

• Greater than 3 years of Level 3 NICU experience with competency in neonatal ventilation and resuscitation.
• NICU transport experience required.
• Floating to adult and neonatal critical care units.
• Traveler may be scheduled for on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in NICU and adult critical care as assigned.
• Float across units as needed to cover patient needs.
• Adhere to travel assignment requirements and facility policies.

Experience

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 years of Respiratory Unit experience.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Information

• Required Skills/Experience: Greater than 3 years of Level 3 NICU experience with competency in high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, heliox, neonatal intubation, neonatal ventilator management, bubble CPAP, heated high flow for the neonate, neonatal arterial puncture, and delivery attendance.
• NICU transport experience required.
• Required Credentials: ABG license required.
• Unit Details: NICU and adult patient populations.
• Shift & Scheduling: Traveler may need to be scheduled for on call.
• Floating Requirements: Traveler will need to float to all areas adult critical care and neonatal critical care.

• 14 days maximum time off
• 2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
