Experience:

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:Required skills include vent management, CPAP, BiPAP, nebulizer treatments, arterial line placement, assisting providers with intubation, ventilator weaning, extubation, and ABGs.

Shift & Scheduling:Weekend rotation: every other weekend.Holidays are assigned as needed.No call.Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved.All staff, including travelers, cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts.

Floating Requirements:Float to all units within the hospital.

Unit Details:Patients are mostly geriatric and adult, with some pediatric patients in the ED.Caseload varies depending on acuity. Typical caseload is 10-15 patients for general floor assignments and 6-8 patients for ICU assignments.Unit-specific equipment includes AVEA vents, Servo U vents, LPU 1200 vents, Parapack vents for MRI, and Hamilton vents for transport.Medication dispensing uses Pyxis.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
