• Responds immediately to emergency codes and correctly manages the airway and external compressions under the direct supervision of a licensed RCP policy (High Risk/High Volume)
• Follows established hospital and departmental infection control policies
• Consult Charge Therapist when in doubt about a procedure or situation
• Records pertinent information on patient medical record.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner (RCP), the Respiratory Therapy Tech will administer noninvasive respiratory care/therapy to patients without artificial airways as ordered by the attending physician; and perform noninvasive diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, therapy under the supervision of the supervisor or charge therapist.
