Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Virginia in Herndon, VA seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join a patient-centered team. You will provide respiratory therapies, monitor patients, and collaborate with physicians to create individualized care plans for optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsabilités

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Formation

Current State License in Respiratory Therapy

CPR certification

ACLS certification preferred

Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred
