Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA accredited associate degree program in respiratory therapy or higher.
• One-year experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in all areas of adult care.
• Must hold a current Oregon State Respiratory Care Practitioners License, NBRC credentialing, have BLS/ACLS, and PALS or within 90 days, NRP preferred.
• Practice includes neonatal to geriatric patients and both in-patient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic information collection including pulmonary function testing and gas analyses.
• Apply respiratory care therapies and manage artificial airways and ventilation.
• Assess therapies and participate in disease management and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family education and collaborate with the care team.
