Job summary

Indiana Fitness Works Inc. is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Therapy Department at Alexandria Care Center in Alexandria, IN. The role supports geriatrics in a long-term care setting, offering on-site training and development.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, administering respiratory treatments, monitoring vitals, and collaborating with the care team. Part-time or PRN, 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends; weekend bonus available.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must hold a relevant respiratory therapy credential or nursing license.
• Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license preferred.
• Basic life support certification required.

• Administer and documentation of respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as oxygen saturation levels and heart rate
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist and Nurses to join our Respiratory Therapy Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to residents in a long term care setting, with a focus on geriatrics. This position will be at Alexandria Care Center in Alexandria, IN.

Previous ventilator and Tracheostomy experience is a plus, but NOT required. We are happy to train you on site!

Requirements

• Certified RRT, CRT, RCP, RN or LPN
  -Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Basic life support certification required
