Job summary

UTMB Health is seeking a Federal Work Study student for the Respiratory Therapy CRAVE Lab in Galveston. You will assist with data collection, analysis, and coordination of research activities, including testing of medical devices in subjects or animals.

Responsibilities include 3D printing, curing devices, stocking supplies, and creating program materials while supporting collaboration with research customers. Must be UTMB enrolled at least half time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; UTMB student enrolled at least half time.

Responsibilities

• Federal Work Study student - for the CRAVE Lab within the department of Respiratory Therapy. Helping with data collection, analysis and assisting with clinical and animal research activities of the laboratory.
• Testing of new medical devices in subjects or animals.
• Assisting with project coordination related to education, compliance, and execution of research activities.
• Printing medical devices on our 3D printer. Cleaning and curing devices.
• Stocking and developing ordering list.
• Writing up research activities, advertising, and creating brochures and text for program activities.
• Working with research customers to convey requirements and gain further understanding of collaboration efforts.
• Performs other related duties as required.
