Job summary

The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston is seeking a Federal Work Study student for the CRAVE Lab in the Respiratory Therapy department to support data collection, analysis, and assist with research activities.

You will assist with testing of new medical devices, coordinate education/compliance activities, and help with advertising and creating brochures for program activities. This on-site role supports collaboration with research customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• UTMB student enrolled at least half time.

Responsibilities

• Federal Work Study student - for the CRAVE Lab within the department of Respiratory Therapy. Helping with data collection, analysis and assisting with clinical and animal research activities of the laboratory.
• Testing of new medical devices in subjects or animals.
• Assisting with project coordination related to education, compliance, and execution of research activities.
• Printing medical devices on our 3D printer. Cleaning and curing devices.
• Stocking and developing ordering list.
• Writing up research activities, advertising, and creating brochures and text for program activities.
• Working with research customers to convey requirements and gain further understanding of collaboration efforts.
• Performs other related duties as required.
