Concorde Career Colleges in Glendale, AZ invites a Program Director Respiratory Therapy to shape the campus from launch in 2027. You will lead faculty, oversee academic quality and student outcomes while building a new program aligned with accreditation standards.

You'll recruit and mentor staff, manage operations and ensure compliance, delivering an exceptional student experience and strong community partnerships in a growing healthcare education environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of clinical experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Minimum of two years of experience in a CoARC-accredited program as an educator or clinical preceptor.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Current state license.
• Strong management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy and the clinical application of classroom learning.
• Ability to evaluate instructor competency.
• Proficiency with computer applications required to perform the responsibilities of the role.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, orient and supervise program faculty and staff.
• Set the standard for professionalism and conduct for faculty, staff and students.
• Support faculty in creating active, engaging and respectful learning experiences focused on student satisfaction and positive outcomes.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback, including formal classroom observations.
• Conduct and document regular department staff and faculty meetings.
• Ensure faculty participate in and document required professional development and Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
• Maintain complete faculty files in accordance with Academic Dean requirements and remain open to coaching and feedback from the Academic Dean.
