Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing seeks a Respiratory Therapy Services Director to lead clinical and non-clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. The role oversees therapy services, staffing, documentation, and cross-department collaboration across the facility.

The director will drive program development, QA, and performance metrics while coordinating with administrators and regional support to optimize patient outcomes and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• Knowledge of respiratory disease and diseases that affect the respiratory system.
• Ability to supervise staff of professional, technical, and clerical subordinates.
• Ability to use respiratory therapy equipment.
• Documentation of patient administered therapies, side effects and or results.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct all daily clinical and non-clinical operations.
• Monitor patient volume, throughput, and productivity; coordinate staffing and resources.
• Administer therapies as prescribed by a physician and per department policies.
• Educate staff through seminars on respiratory care and health issues.
• Manage Medicare/Medicaid processes and regulatory compliance.
