Job summary

The role coordinates department activities, participates in committees, and provides on-call coverage to support clinical excellence.

You will mentor staff, drive performance improvement projects, and contribute to recruitment, scheduling, and education programs for students and professionals in respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
• Current Ohio license to practice respiratory care.
• RRT credential issued by NBRC; BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 3–5 years of related clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily respiratory care operations to ensure cost-effective, high-quality services.
• Develop and enforce department policies and infection-control guidelines.
• Coordinate activities and provide on-call support; participate in hospital committees.
• Coach, mentor and evaluate staff; assist in recruitment and scheduling.
• Lead performance improvement projects and monitor clinical data for quality.
• Educate staff and students; liaison with internal and external resources.
