Job summary

TriHealth in Cincinnati is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide care across patient care settings, including administration of respiratory therapies, mechanical ventilation management, and assessment of therapy effectiveness.

Responsibilities include education of students and participation in ABG procurement and bedside pulmonary function testing; must hold Ohio licensure and BLS/RRT credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of advanced cardiopulmonary physiology and related pharmacology.
• BLS certification (NBRC) or RRT credential upon hire.
• Current Ohio licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Performs documentation updates and submits charges by end of shift.
• Manages ventilator support for neonates to adults.
• Contributes to the Respiratory Evaluation Protocol Program.
• Performs airway management and oxygen titration as needed.
• Administers respiratory therapies and diagnostics (ABGs, PFTs) for neonates and adults.
