Qualifications

• Three years of experience in respiratory therapy; leadership experience preferred.
• RRT credential through NBRC.
• Current respiratory care licensure through the Kentucky Board of Respiratory.
• NRP and ACLS required within six months of hire.
• BLS required upon hire.

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking an experienced and motivated Respiratory Therapy Manager to provide leadership and oversight of our Respiratory Care department. This key leadership position is responsible for directing daily clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader with the ability to build and develop a high-performing team while effectively managing departmental operations, budgets, and resources. Responsibilities include mentoring and motivating staff, promoting operational efficiency, and ensuring exceptional patient care and customer service.

The Manager will ensure compliance with professional accreditation, regulatory, and licensure standards while collaborating with interdisciplinary leaders to advance organizational goals and continuous quality improvement. This position also provides direct patient care as needed to support departmental operations.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy, healthcare leadership, or a related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in respiratory therapy required; with current or previous leadership experience desired.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
• Current respiratory care licensure through the Kentucky Board of Respiratory.
