Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapy Manager to lead the Respiratory Care department, directing daily clinical operations, overseeing budgets and resources, and fostering a patient-centered team focused on high-quality care.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy or related field, strong leadership, NBRC RRT credential, and Kentucky licensure. Master’s degree and ACLS/NRP within six months are preferred to support organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy, healthcare leadership, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of respiratory therapy experience with leadership is desired.
• RRT credential through NBRC required.
• Current Kentucky respiratory care licensure.
• NRP and ACLS required within six months of hire.
• BLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and motivate staff, promote operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and licensure standards while collaborating with interdisciplinary leaders.
• Provide direct patient care as needed to support departmental operations.
