Qualifications

• Education: AMA approved program in respiratory therapy and a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: 3–5 years in adult critical care; NICU experience preferred.
• Certification/Licensure: RRT; MA license; BLS/ACLS/NRP current.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate respiratory staff coverage and workloads.
• Provide high clinical standards in assessment, administration, and observation.
• Resolve staffing issues, act as leadership fallback, and participate in intradepartmental meetings.
• Assist in policy development, equipment purchases, and quality initiatives.
