UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks a seasoned Respiratory Therapist to join the CUH Respiratory Therapy team. You will provide advanced respiratory care to adult, geriatric, and neonatal patients, perform procedures, and support teaching and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in respiratory care (A.A.S.) is required or equivalent.
• 5 years of critical care experience as an RRT; specialty areas may vary.
• Licensure: Texas Medical Board license and NBRC credentials; BLS/NRP as required during hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate unit staffing to meet patient needs and census fluctuations.
• Perform professional respiratory care with competency across age groups (adult, geriatric, neonatal).
• Conduct patient rounds, chart reviews, and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure adherence to NBRC requirements, AARC guidelines, and safety standards.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to staff; participate in performance evaluations.
