Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Mount Clemens, MI seeks a Per Diem Respiratory Therapy Assistant to support licensed therapists in delivering prescribed gas therapies and related treatments. You will assist in setup, monitoring patient response, and use of oxygen mixtures with respiratory equipment.

Requirements: high school diploma or GED, current CoARC-approved program enrollment (three semesters completed) and BLS certification. Per diem schedule; on-call not required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Currently enrolled, with successful completion of three semesters, in a CoARC-approved respiratory care program.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the administration of prescribed doses of medical gases and the set-up and administration of therapeutic treatment and aerosolized drugs.
• Uses oxygen mixtures in conjunction with respiratory therapy equipment.
