Job summary

Select Medical's Mount Clemens, MI facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for Per Diem/PRN night shifts. You will evaluate patients, provide respiratory care, manage endotracheal tubes, and contribute to quality improvement in a high-acuity setting.

The role requires NBRC credential (CRT or RRT), BLS, state licensure, ACLS on hire, and preferred 1 year of experience. This PRN position offers a strong orientation, competitive shift differentials, and opportunities for advancement within

• Must possess Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation: college transcript or diploma preferred; or HS transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required by start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Per Diem/ PRN

Location: Mount Clemens, MI

Schedule: PRN Nights - 12 hour shiftsCompensation: $43.00 per hour plus competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
