Qualifications

• AAS/AS in Respiratory Therapy is required; BS preferred.
• Must hold an active RRT credential and California RCP license.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging instruction and evaluate student performance.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prepare, and deliver Respiratory Therapy course objectives and content.
• Maintain a safe, professional learning environment in classrooms and labs.
• Utilize equipment and simulation resources relevant to Respiratory Therapy instruction.
• Keep curriculum up-to-date with standards, technologies, and credentialing expectations.
• Deliver theory and lab instruction covering anatomy, oxygen therapy, ventilation, diagnostics, and procedures.
• Provide timely feedback and monitor student progress; identify at-risk students and develop remediation plans.
• Record attendance, grades, competency data, and other required documentation.
• Participate in faculty meetings, program assessment, accreditation activities, and quality improvement.
