Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a state approved respiratory care program.
• Must have completed one semester of clinical practicum.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate therapeutic gas administration, aerosol generators, and disposable medical products.
• Provide emergency care, including artificial ventilation and CPR.
• Evaluate treatment requirements per physician orders.
• Monitor patient response: vital signs, pulse oximetry, auscultation.
• Read prescriptions and review patient information to assess condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other health care professionals to manage patient care.
