Job summary

Kindred Hospital Rancho is a 55-bed long-term acute care hospital in Rancho Cucamonga seeking a Respiratory Therapy Services Director to oversee operations. You will plan, direct and monitor clinical and technical respiratory therapy activities, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

You will lead staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with physicians to deliver life support and diagnostic services, including arterial blood gas analysis and cardiopulmonary procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Administration preferred.
• Current Respiratory Therapy license from the appropriate state licensing body.
• Current RRT credential in compliance with NBRC CMP. Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum three years of experience in all aspects of respiratory care services.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Experience managing a Point of Care ABG Lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs the hospital’s Respiratory Therapy Services under limited supervision.
• Plans, Directs and Monitors clinical and technical operations of the Respiratory Therapy Department.
• Administers respiratory therapy and life support; performs diagnostic testing to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards; participate in CQI activities.
• Lead staffing: interviewing, hiring, orientation, performance evaluation, scheduling, and discipline.
