Job summary

Rockingham Community College is seeking a Director of Clinical Education/9-Month Faculty for Respiratory Therapy. The role is on-site and reports to the Director of Respiratory Therapy.

The position requires a bachelor's degree, NBRC RRT, and NC licensure, with several years of clinical and teaching experience. The faculty member will plan curriculum, oversee clinical experiences, develop schedules, maintain affiliate agreements, and lead assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from regionally and nationally accredited institution.
• Minimum four years as an RRT with two years in clinical respiratory care.
• Two years teaching experience in an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Licensing: NBRC RRT; current NC license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize curriculum as approved by RCC Board of Trustees and accrediting bodies.
• Evaluate student performance during clinical experiences and report progress.
• Develop student clinical schedules and course syllabi with learning outcomes.
• Maintain currency of clinical affiliate agreements/contracts.
• Identify and develop instructional materials to teach program competencies.
• Provide leadership in assessments of learning outcomes for all courses.
