Carle Health is hiring a Therapy Tech in Urbana, IL to assist Respiratory Therapy by processing equipment and stocking service areas. You will support Respiratory Therapists with routine tasks and ensure supplies are available for patient care.

The role is flexible, enabling work around school schedules, with part-time hours (4–24 per week) and supervision by RT staff. Must be enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Care Program and hold BLS.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Must be enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Standard office equipment (computer, printer, copier, phone, fax, file cabinets). All types of basic respiratory supply to provide routine care and monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Disassembles, washes, rinses, dries and packages respiratory equipment
• Reassembles and checks respiratory equipment for proper function
• Orders supplies for RT department and service areas
• Stocks equipment and supplies to all RT service areas
• Assist with cleaning Respiratory Care Related Equipment
• Assist with placement of Respiratory Care Related Equipment out in the patient care units
• Stock Respiratory Care supplies in the patient care units
• Assist with Monthly monitoring and stocking of Airway boxes

Overview

The Therapy Tech is responsible for processing respiratory therapy equipment and providing basic assistance to therapist by performing routine tasks under supervision of Respiratory Therapist. Provides assistance to Respiratory Therapist by stocking RT service areas with equipment and supplies and ordering supplies.

We work around your school schedule. You could work 4- 24 hours a week as you want or need!!!

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $22.1per hour - $36.91per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.
