Job summary

Work where you matter.A Brief OverviewResponsible to perform therapy aide functions to ensure patients are scheduled and registered accurately. Assists with activities to maintain cleanliness and order to the department. Provides excellent customer service to external and internal customers via in person, over the telephone and through electronic communications. Assists therapy staff with patient care, as needed in various departments.What you will doCompletes documents as needed.Completes daily, weekly or monthly reports and assists with audits as needed.Prepares appropriate charting forms for each patient/resident.Schedules appointments according to provider referrals and therapist availability.Answers phone, relaying correct information.Greets patients, collects patient information and enters into EMR accurately.Completes insurance forms, verifies insurance coverage, and secures other information as may be needed for patient billing.Makes copies and sends faxes as requested from within department or from outside sources.Essential QualificationsThe individual must be able to work the hours specified.
