Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver high-quality respiratory care for adult patients. You will perform assessments, procedures, blood gas analysis, and patient education in a fast-paced setting.

This role requires an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy and an RRT with BCLS/ACLS; PALS within 60 days. Weekend night shifts (7pm–7am) are required, with opportunities for growth within the Piedmont system.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences required.
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist license required and Georgia licensure upon hire.
• BCLS, ACLS required; PALS within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and respiratory care procedures in adult care areas.
• Conduct blood gas analysis and manage related equipment.
• Provide patient education and ensure adherence to protocols.
• Maintain and manage respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
