Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Atlanta, GA. You will perform patient assessments, respiratory care procedures, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, equipment maintenance, and patient education.

Weekend 7pm-7am shifts are available, with opportunities for professional growth and teamwork in a supportive environment. Eligible candidates include graduates with an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, valid Georgia

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• No prior experience required.
• RRT license with Georgia state authorization upon hire.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and respiratory care procedures.
• Perform critical care procedures in adult care areas.
• Conduct blood gas analysis and ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory therapies.

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.

• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire Required and

• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 Days Required
