Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to join our patient-focused team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves patient assessments, respiratory care procedures, and blood gas analysis, with a weekend night schedule (7pm–7am).

You will provide education to patients, maintain equipment, and adhere to critical care protocols for adult care areas. An Associate's degree and state licensure are required, with BCLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials expected upon hire or shortly after.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences required.
• RRT certification and Georgia state license required upon hire.
• BCLS, ACLS required upon hire.
• PALS within 60 days required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and general respiratory care procedures.
• Carry out critical care procedures in adult care areas.
• Perform blood gas analysis.
• Maintain and manage respiratory care equipment.
• Educate patients and families.
