Job summary

Harmony House Care Center in Waterloo, Iowa, is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT/CRT/CRTT/CCT) to join our dedicated Respiratory Care team. This on-site role offers a full-time weekday schedule with no weekends and a $5,000 sign-on bonus to support a balanced life while delivering meaningful patient care.

Whether you’re an experienced RT or a new graduate, you’ll perform comprehensive respiratory assessments, manage ventilators, provide Trach care, and develop individualized

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Iowa Respiratory Therapist License (or eligibility).
• CRTT, CRT, RRT, or CCT credential.
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments.
• Provide ventilator management and monitoring.
• Deliver tracheostomy care.
• Administer respiratory treatments and oxygen therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Monitor residents' respiratory status and modify treatments as appropriate.
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately.
• Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory care.
