Harmony House Care Center in Waterloo, Iowa, is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT/CRT/CRTT/CCT) to join our Respiratory Care team. This full-time role offers a weekday schedule with no weekends and a $5,000 sign-on bonus, providing meaningful patient care and balance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in respiratory therapy from a CoARC‑accredited program is required.
• Iowa license or eligibility to obtain licensure is required.
• Credentials: CRT, CRTT, RRT, or CCT are required/desired.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments.
• Provide ventilator management and monitoring.
• Deliver tracheostomy (Trach) care.
• Administer respiratory treatments and oxygen therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Monitor residents' respiratory status and modify treatments as appropriate.
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately.
• Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory care.

Education

Associate’s degree (minimum) from a CoARC‑accredited Respiratory Therapy program

Iowa Respiratory Therapist License (or eligibility)

CRTT, CRT, RRT, or CCT credential

BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
