Harmony House Care Center in Waterloo, Iowa, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT/CRT/CRTT/CCT) for a Weekend Package position with a $5,000 sign-on bonus. This full-time role offers a consistent weekend schedule and competitive pay, with weekdays off available for personal time or family commitments.

The ideal candidate will provide ventilator management, tracheostomy care, and comprehensive respiratory services within a supportive clinical team focused on quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (minimum) from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Iowa Respiratory Therapist License (or eligibility).
• CRTT, CRT, RRT, or CCT credential.
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred).
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments.
• Provide ventilator management and monitoring.
• Deliver tracheostomy (Trach) care.
• Administer respiratory treatments and oxygen therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Monitor residents' respiratory status and modify treatments as appropriate.
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately.
• Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory care.
